Professor Raman Sundrum, one of the world’s most prominent particle theorists, has joined the University of Maryland as a Professor of Physics and member of our Maryland Center for Fundamental (MCFP) Physics on July 1, 2010. He has made seminal contributions on the phenomenology of possible extra spacetime dimensions as well as numerous major contributions in multiple areas of particle phenomenology. We expect that Professor Sundrum will being fresh ideas and perspectives to the Center.
